MonsterRock Interview!!!

Hi everyone.
A lot of people were asking me where they could listen to our interview
at Kong MonsterRock last week.  So I made a video of it and put it up on
YouTube.

H&Q Mastered and Ready to go!!

The time has finally arrived.. our H&Q CD is all finished and getting ready for distribution.
It has been a really long road getting all the songs exactly the way we wanted to them, but
all 8 songs sound great and we can't wait to share them with everyone :)

Thanks for everyones support and I will keep everyone posted when it is available!!!

The New CD started today!!!

Today was the first day of my new CD... still untitled!
Actually "Untitled" is kinda a cool name... maybe!!
Well the first day went well.. I will keep posting updates and
pics from the studio!!

H&Q is all done!!!

Well after months of mixing and editing we finally got all the songs to sound just the way they are supposed to!! After finding some wrong settings in the drum mics we were able to get all the instruments sounding great and "Radio Ready"
They are off to mastering right now and I am excited to hear how they sound once they get back!!

Studio Sunday

Heading back in the studio to finish up "Right Direction" and add some electric guitar!! Trying to make the song a little more dynamic :)

Tuning Up H&Q

We have "Holiday's", "Right Direction" and "Destroyer" all set and ready to go off to mastering. Doing a final check on all the levels this weekend and then they will be ready for pre-release before the rest of the CD!

Thursday at Imperial Studios

Well... we have gained more interest in our cover of "Holidays In The Sun" So it looks like we are going to do a early release of Holidays with Right Direction and Destoryer. Should be a great first release to gain momentum and interest in "H&Q Ft. Arqum Iqbal" which should be out in the next couple of months... I hope!!

Thursday Night

Thursday night was a great night at Imperial Square Music Studios.
Went in and the first thing I did was fix the fucked up sound I was getting
from the amp. Once that was all taken care of I started working on the solo's
for "Moody Girl"
Everything went great and all the guitar parts are finished for "Moody Girl"
and now I am getting ready for Sunday and finishing up "Don't You"
I'll post up pics from Sunday's session Sunday night!!

Today's Studio Session

Well... there isn't much to say about today's recording sessions except that is really fuckin sucked!!!
I was struggling with the sound and tone of the guitar I couldn't lay down any of the solo's for "Moody Girl" or "Don't You".
I could have been the worse couple of hours I have had in the studio for a very long time. Well... all I can do is learn from the experience and get it right on Thursday!!

H&Q re-recordings

Well we were in the studio yesterday working on "Moody Girl" and "Don't You". We decided to re-do those two songs due to a broken cord that was causing a terrible sound that our genius engineer couldn't get rid of.
All the Bass and Rhythm guitars are done for both songs and sound fuckin awesome. Joe has been working hard on the drums and vocals... getting everything perfect!
